Really good quality item. Works well, cleans well and the drip tray is amazing. What is nice about the product is the fact that the lid can adjust to the size of the sandwich/burger/wrap.

Makes perfectly toasted sandwiches without squashing the bread , its super easy to clean , easily fits 4 double sandwiches simultaneously .

After trying various smaller products we decided to go big and this Kenwood the right choice. It has two flat plates with run-off rim, and it opens more than 90 degrees so that the flat plate can be used to braai patties, steaks, whatever with the 2000 degree heat. The top that swivels is the choice attribute - no more squeezed toasties but some vibrancy still present which improves the taste.

Very satisfied with my bought. Although the product is light in weight, I get evenly toasted sandwiches in a very short time. Will definitely recommend this product.

Great product! I’m getting fat from making sandwiches on this thing. It handles flap jacks, french toast and even some grilling with ease! My wife and I love our Kenwood sandwich press. Swivel hinges are great for those extra thick sandwiches. Makes me hungry just thinking about it...

Great appliance but much bigger than I expected.

The sandwich press is solid, heats up quickly and toasts the bread well (especially when the buttered side is put on the outside, and filling inside on the unbuttered side). The little tray in front is great! After use I just wipe the crumbs and bits of grease off with paper towel, into the tray, which I can then wash. I specifically like the fact that the non-stick surface is right up to the edges, leaving no grooves through which e.g. melted cheese can run into the mechanism of the product (like I found in some other, similar products). However - the only thing I don't like, is the fact that it compresses the bread quite a bit, making it very dense, probably because the top of the appliance is quite heavy. This is more so if the bread is fresh. But I guess the description “sandwich press” should've warned me. And in order for the edges of the sandwich to also be toasted well, one has to put the filling right up to the edges, so the sandwich is the same height everywhere. But then, of course, more liquid drains out too. Overall, quite happy with the appliance.

I like the fact that the top plate is not too heavy so my sandwich does not get squashed like a fly between the wall and the swatter.
